Cheer

• A proper fitting cheer shoe should feel snug in the heel and midfoot, with wiggle room around the toes.
• Order the size shoe you would normally wear in your typical athletic shoes.
• All Kaepa shoes are fitted for medium widths. If you wear a wide width, order a half size larger.
• Feet tend to become larger as the day progresses, sometimes by as much as a full size by the end of the day.
• Since one shoe may fit differently than the other, always order the size based on the larger of your two feet.
• Children’s feet grow at a very quick rate, their feet can grow as much as 2 full sizes in one year. For children’s shoes you should have a thumbs width of empty space at the end of the shoe beyond their longest toe.
• Kaepa cheerleading shoes are available in Women’s and Youth sizes. Youth sizes end at size 2.0 where women’s start at size 4.0. There is not a lapse in sizing.
• Men’s conversion is 1 ½ sizes smaller than the women’s size.

1. Try on both shoes with the socks you typically wear with your cheer shoes.
2. On a clean indoor surface, stand up and walk around.
3. Sit back down, and adjust the laces, the width of the laces should be about the same all the way to the top. If not, you may not have the correct size/style shoe.
4. There should be no less than half an inch of space between the end of your longest toe and the end of the shoe toe box.
5. One should be able to wiggle one's toes upwards.
6. Shoes should fit properly day 1. They should have a comfortable snug fit but not feel tight or binding. They should not have to be "broken-in" to fit. It's true that soft upper materials will slightly give, molding to your feet, but they will not dramatically increase in width or length.

Kaepa stand behind our products and so we are pleased to offer a 60 day warranty on our cheer products and a 1 year warranty on our classics. Our warranty does not cover wear and tear from intended use. If you believe your Kaepa product is defective please contact us.

To help keep your Kaepa footwear fresh be sure to air them out after use so they have the chance to fully dry from any absorbed sweat. We do not recommend storing your performance footwear in a closed bag or case immediately after use as that will lock in the moisture and over time lead to excessive bacteria build up. To clean smudges or soil we recommend creating a simple paste from a mixture of baking soda and water, use a tooth brush to apply the paste. Allow the paste to sit for a minute or two and then clean off the paste. You may need to fully rinse the shoes in clean fresh water to remove all the paste and soil. Laces can be removed from the shoes and placed in a mesh "delicates" bag and machine washed. Of course, allow your shoes to fully air dry out of direct sun before wearing them!
